Updating list items in sharepoint
When you add an Update List Item action to a Share Point Designer workflow the following phrase appears: in the phrase for the Share Point Designer action, the Update List Item dialog box appears.
You can use the Update List Item dialog box in a Share Point Designer workflow to update an existing item in a Share Point list or a Share Point document library.
Some pages cannot be edited--for example, the Site Contents page. Against each field you can type a fixed value or select a Think Automation Extracted Field or Variable which will be assigned to the field.When the update is performed the new or existing List item ID will be returned to Think Automation.A Share Point site can include a variety of lists, such as contacts, calendars, announcements, and issues-tracking.Regardless of the list type , the process is similar to add, edit, or delete list items.
